After that I headed up to Clarksville for a New Years dinner that was KOREAN!!!! My friend Min's mom cooked a Korean meal of deokmandugook and I had some galbi, homemade kimchi, seafood pancake...-sigh- I was so happy. It was great to hear and get to talk in Korean again. Min and I talk a little in Korean...mostly in his sleep he starts muttering in Korean "Just let me sleep a little more" and something else I can't remember. His mom even knew where Pyeongchon was!!! It made me sooooo happy which lets me know that Korea is most definitely in my future, one way or another.
The next weekend was the military formal in Kentucky where the snow was seriously coming down. Now, it wasn't as much as Seoul...actually not even close.
But for the south it was a substantial amount. Plus it got so damn icey at night making it hard to walk in 3-inch heels. But I had a good time dancing, eating and meeting some down to earth Army men. Gotta say....I think I have a thing for Army men now....-sigh-...those arms, stature....loving it, lol. Who knows, maybe a Korean Army man is in my future, LOL.
Oooh. I love, love Uniforms. Pictures, please?
