So every now and then I find myself thinking about some aspect of Korea/Korean culture that I miss. Tonight what I miss from Korea is....-drumroll-.....
TV COMMERCIALS
It's strange, but one of my favorite pasttimes in Korea was watching commercials. If you asked many of my friends they would tell you that I was quite good at memorizing and repeating tv commercials. The music, the words, I would remember them all. So I decided to show you guys a few of my favorite commercials...
1) Corn Silk Tea starring Kim Tae Hee
- I tried this tea, not because I wanted a V-shaped face, but because I love tea. However, this tea tastes like burnt corn. I couldn't finish even half a bottle. Maybe if I had finished it all I would see some results on my face...
2) Vita 500 starring Wondergirls
- I actually drank this quite a bit. Not sure if it helped me get sick less than I would have but at least I got my days worth of vitamin c.
3) Soju(forgot the brand) starring Lee Hyori
- Soju...nuff said...
4) LG Lollipop starring BigBang and 2NE1
- Love both of these groups. Kind of wished I could have bought one of these phones.
5) 17Tea starring Jeon Ji Hyun
- A tea I actually really liked this tea, especially ice cold on a hot as hell day.
I'll continue to bring you guys different things I miss about Korea and of course posts about life after...well, life at present. I'm also currently looking up different events going on in my town that I can show you. There are a few events coming up that I hope to go to. For example:
-Oktoberfest October 10
-Music Molasses Festival October 17-18
-Flea Market October 23-25
-Annual Jack Daniel's Invitational BBQ October 24
-Cirque d'Or performed by Golden Dragon Acrobats October 29
